Background: Masjid Al-Hidayah was opened on August 15, 2003, and at this point of the building life cycle there are major renovations required this year and in the next year. The building roof and the building perimeter insulation membrane is overdue for change. The main wudu washrooms must be upgraded in next year.
Required Resonations/Upgrade
Project | Estimated Cost | Year |
Perimeter Membrane Repair/Replacement | $50,000.00 | Q2/2022 |
New Roof Installation | $150,000.00 | Q2/2023 |
Main wudu washrooms upgrades (tiles, toilet seats, sinks, faucets, washrooms’ dividers and doors) | $50,000.00 | Q3/2023 |
Total | $250,000.00 |
Since Masjid Al-Hidayah has no other source of income except from its local community, so fundraising is the only way to secure the renovation funds. A great reward for building/maintaining a mosque is being granted a palace in Jannah (paradise). In order to keep the Masjid running in good condition must raise about an additional $250K which can be split into 250 shares, then it will take 250 persons to provide funds needed. If each person commits to donate $1,000.00 (one time or as simple as $40/month for 2 years), inshAllah, we will maintain the Masjid fully functional for the next 20 years and ultimately each donors shall have his/her own House in Janna built by Allah (swt).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]
