All praises and thanks be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. The Islamic Society of British Columbia wishes to congratulate all Muslims with the happy occasion of 'Eid ul-Fitr, and we announce as follows:
There are reliable reports of moon sightseeing in many Islamic countries on the 29th of Ramadan evening. Thus, the month of Ramadan will be 29 days, and Thursday, March 19, 2026 will be the 1st of Shawwal “Eid-ul-fitr”.
Eid Prayers will be held at 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM inshallah.
We ask Allah to accept from us our Ramadan, to accept all of our deeds, forgive us our shortcomings and to deliver us until next Ramadan.
Please park your car legally in the underground parking or on the street as bylaw officers will be issuing tickets to violators. We also remind you to arrive to the masjid and leave peacefully without causing any disturbance to our neighbors as our Prophet (PBUH) commanded us.
