Masjid Al-Hidayah & Islamic Cultural Center Policies:

  • Activities or events deemed un-Islamic or contravening any laws of the Province of British Columbia are strictly prohibited on the premises.
  • Absolutely no public announcements, speeches, notices, or distribution of printed materials are permitted on the premises without the prior written approval of either the Imam or the Mosque Management.
  • No personal or private business or solicitation of any kind may be conducted on the premises.
  • Proceeds of any items sold on the property must be solely for the benefit of the Mosque.
  • Only the appointed Mosque Imam or his designate(s) may lead congregational prayers and/or coordinate activities of a religious nature.
  • Foul language is never to be used on the premises; and arguments, disputes, or other disruptions to the sanctity of the Mosque will not be tolerated.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on mosque property; inside or out.

Gymnasium Policy:

  • No activities during prayer times.
  • A parent or guardian must supervise children under 10 years of age.
  • No spitting, yelling, or foul language.
  • Any shorts worn must cover the knees.
  • No food or drinks except during authorized events.

Activities or events deemed un-Islamic or contravening any laws of the province of British Columbia are strictly prohibited on the premises. Mosque management assumes no liability arising from injuries sustained on the premises. Activities are conducted at participants' own risk. Failure to Abide by any of the above may result in suspension of gym privileges.

Parking Lot Rules:

  • This is private property. Parking lot is reserved for the guests and patrons of this mosque.
  • Parking lot is open during peek times and events only.
  • Overnight parking is not permitted.
  • Mosque is not responsible for vehicles and their contents.
  • Park at your own risk.
  • Unauthorized, improperly parked or leaky vehicles will be towed away at vehicle owner's expense.
  • No smoking or music on premises.

Mosque assumes no liability arising from any injuries sustained on the premises. Premises monitored 24 hours by video surveillance. Suspicious activities will be reported to the police.
