All praise be to Allah that He helped us to rollout the first run of AFB successfully on May 10th, 2020 (Ramadan 17, 1441) then all sincere thanks to our community members who helped and supported this program through their generous donations and volunteering.
To help you imagine the great goodness you helped us to achieve:
- AFB served 58 families across Tri-Cities, Burnaby and Surrey.
- Total 278 household received more than 1,450 pounds of high-quality halal food.
As you all know feeding the hungry is a compassionate and humane cause that is highly rewarded by Allah (swt) and AFB is our fulfilment of this cause. Also, the most loved actions to Allah (swt) is the continuous ones as our Prophet (PBUH) said. To maintain the operations of AFB, please support with your donations and volunteering so we can keep up with the demand we have seen on our first run and it will increase for sure. Every little help counts on the Day of Judgement!
Next AFB run will coincide the Night of Eid el-Fitr. So, do not miss this opportunity to bring joy and happiness to the needy families on Eid Day as our Prophet (PBUH) said. Donate to AFB and/or send your Zakatul Fitr before Thursday May 21, 2020 midnight.
