Ramadan 1443

All the praises and thanks be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. The Islamic Society of British Columbia wishes to congratulate all Muslims with the happy occasion of 'Eid al-Fitr, and we announce as follows:

There are no reliable reports of moon sightseeing anywhere on the 29th of Ramadan evening. Thus, the month of Ramadan will complete 30 days and Monday, May 02, 2022 will be the 1st of Shawwal “Eid el Fitr” and Eid Prayers will be held at 7:00 AM inshallah.

Kindly be advised that Eid El-Fitr Prayers will be held at 7:00 AM^* as following:

Isha’ will start at 9:20 PM on April 1st, and for the following nights please check our Ramadan Calendar posted on our website. After Isha' and its sunnah, we will proceed with 4 raka’h of Traweeh, followed by a short break for Khatira, then we continue Taraweeh to complete 8 Rak’ah followed by Witr.

The Islamic Society of BC (ISBC) is pleased to announce that the first Day of the blessed month of Ramadan 1443 is:

Saturday April 02, 2022. 

The holy month of Ramadan is upon us. We would like to wish you and your families a blessed month. We pray to Allah (swt) to purify our intention to witness this sacred month and to make the coming days of Ramadan are the most precious. May Allah accept all our good deeds inshallah.

Masjid Al-Hidayh is organizing iftar at the Masjid on Fridays and Saturdays during the first 20 nights of Ramadan (1443H) then after it will be every night in the last 10 nights.
