Ramadan 1441 H (2020)

The Islamic Society of BC (ISBC) is pleased to announce that the first Day of the blessed month of Ramadan 1441 is:

All Praises are to Allah, the Lord of Men, Jinn and all that exists.

One of the meanings we shall talk about in this hint is: The Sign Proving One’s Getting Prepared.

الحمد لله رب العالمين

من المعاني الرمضانية التي سنتناولها في هذه الخاطرة:أمارة التأهُّب والاستعداد.

All Praises are to Allah, the Lord of mankind, jinn, and all that exists. Peace and blessings are on the Prophet of Mercy, his household, companions and the righteous followers. Amen.

Ramadan shall shortly start, only in a few nights. Once we expect to meet some beloved ones, we spend much time preparing for their reception. Similarly, we should prepare for this holy month by getting rid of our hearts’ negligence and carelessness.

الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة على من بُعث رحمة وعلى آله وصحبه والتابعين لهم بإحسان، آمين.

أما بعد، فلا يخفاكم أنه لم يبق بيننا وبين رمضان إلا بضع ليال معدودات، والمرء إذا كان ينتظر زائراً غالياً على نفسه وله منزلةٌ في قلبه فإنه ينشغل به قُبيل موعد قدومه، ولا يليق أن يقترب مِنّا هذا الشهر الكريم والقلوب في برود الغفلة وعدم الاكتراث.

وتبقى القلوب المؤمنة الحيَّة في جمر الشوق لهذا؛ لا يزيدها الاقتراب منه إلا حرارة وتلهفًا.
