Shariah Basis for Banning Dr Saad to Attend The Masjid

The ISBC has received queries about the Islamic Shariah guidance that supports its decision to disallow the attendance of Masjid Alhidayah by Dr. Saadeldin Bahr. For the enlightenment of everyone, the administration wants to share with you the basis of this decision to clear any doubts or false claims.

Reopening for Daily Prayers and Juma

All praise to Allah (swt) that He showed us an early sign of the resolution of COVID-19 pandemic and our staying-home sacrifice has begun to pay off. As you may all know BC government announced its plan for easing COVID-19 restrictions! As such the Islamic Society of BC (ISBC) approached the City of Port Coquitlam to allow us to reopen the Masjid for prayers and alhamdulellah, we have received the City approval for this.

The Crisis of COVID-19

We all go through trials and tribulations and no doubt, the crisis of COVID-19 is very difficult time for all of us. What the Muslim believer should realize in such extreme hardship times, that these hardships or severe difficulties are created by Allah Almighty for His servants to show them their limited ability, weakness and powerlessness while Allah (swt) has the full control and power over them.

COVID-19: Jummah and Daily Five Prayers

Kindly be advised that all congregational prayers including Jumma (Friday Prayers) are suspended at Masjid Al-Hidaya until further notice following the orders of the City of Port Coquitlam.

Always remember that Allah is in control of every situation. Make Istighfaar and Dua that Allah eases this situation.
